The Royal Rangers program is an activity-based, small group church ministry for youth aged 6 to 18 years old. Our mission is to evangelise, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and women, and lifelong servant leaders. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for youth in a highly relational and fun environment.
The Royal Rangers program is a cross-generational ministry that interconnects well with children, youth and adult ministries and fits easily into the fabric of pastoral vision and into the flow of church ministries. We affirm the hands-on, interactive learning style by featuring an intentional discipleship journey for youth based on their unique design, needs and interests. Every meeting, outing or service activity is designed to encourage them in their walk with God.
We provide the tools to model Christlike living as you mentor the Rangers on a Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered journey to maturity in the faith. Rangers learn to study and apply what the Bible says about integrity, doctrine, biblical worldview, cultural issues and manhood. In addition, the Royal Rangers ministry moulds them into servant leaders, teaching them vital social, equipping, attitude, leadership and service skills.
The Royal Rangers program at a local church is referred to as an “outpost” and may consist of one or more groups. Each group follows a program of activities based on the interests and abilities of the Rangers in that group.
Ranger Kids
6-8 Years Old
The Ranger Kids trail represents a process for learning and growing through participation in fun activities.
It is designed to provide every child with opportunities for adventure and fun in a group setting and to enlarge their creativity through interactive merits and advancements.
Discovery Rangers
9-11 Years Old
Discovery Rangers enjoy many great adventures as they make new friends, learn new skills, develop leadership, and grow into the young man and woman God created them to be.
In this trail, they will be exposed to learn and manage their living skills i.e. basic cooking, basic first-aid, being a good host at home, etc.
Adventure Rangers
12-14 Years Old
Adventure Rangers starts the exciting journey to being a teenager.
In this trail, they will learn to explore skills through hobby-like merits and outdoor camping skills.
Through these activities, we hope to spark an interest where the ranger can discover their future career and skills to specialise in.
Expedition Rangers
15-18 Years Old
Expedition Rangers marks the road for them to actively build their leadership qualities.
This skill will be further sharpened through various hands-on Service Projects which they will plan and execute.
This trail leads to identifying future leaders within the outpost.
